Albania has finalised its participation agreement with the International Stabilization Force for Gaza, signed on Friday, the Times of Israel reported on 26 October. Albanian liaison officers are expected to arrive in November, though no troop numbers were given. The force's planning is overseen by the Board of Peace.
Kosovo, which signed its own agreement on 7 September, told the paper that its contribution, an explosive ordnance disposal team, a contingent commander serving as liaison and staff officers, is ready to deploy, with timing left to the force's command. Up to 500 Moroccan personnel have completed force-led training since late August.
The stabilisation force's deployment has been delayed repeatedly, partly over Israeli approval for a base near the yellow line that separates Israeli-held areas from the rest of Gaza. Indonesia, Morocco and Kazakhstan have also been named as contributors. Egypt and Jordan are expected to train Palestinian police.
